Katie Hackley

My name is
Katie Hackley and I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My year long commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and understanding behavior and its motives. My certification, education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and humanely train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you.

In addition to being a certified dog trainer, I've also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoo Science along with a minor in Biology. My education from Friends University in Wichita, KS included interacting and caring for the vast variety of animal species at the Sedgwick County Zoo. Needless to say, my love for animals extends beyond dogs. Happily, I'll work with animals of all kinds! I have experience working and volunteering in several different types of animal shelters. It is there, where I became familiar with dog and cat vaccinations, behaviours, and the requirements of their daily lives. Currently, I come to the home environment that you share with your dog to give my knowledge on the needs, both physical and emotional, that your dog requires in order to be healthy. I will show you how an obedient dog becomes so through consistency and calm.
